EDITORIAL. Introduction aux journées d’étude sur le logis animal

Ce texte introduit la publication des rencontres tenues en novembre 2022 à l’Université de Nanterre à l’invitation du professeur Christophe Petit et de l’archéologue Jean-Yves Dufour. 16 communications ont permis un point d’actualité de la recherche sur le logis animal sur le territoire français. Cette courte introduction utilise les traités d’agronomie pour rappeler combien loger le bétail était important sous le climat de nos régions françaises.

This text introduces the publication of the meetings held in November 2022 at the University of Nanterre at the invitation of Professor Christophe Petit and archaeologist Jean-Yves Dufour. 16 papers provided an update on research on animal housing in France. This short introduction uses agronomy treatises to highlight the importance of livestock housing in the climate of our French regions.
