This method has rarely been applied to hydraulic flows. The objective of this work is to present the model that we have developed to solve the shallow water equations (SWE) by the LBM. Initially, the model was verified on academic cases in hydraulics. In a second step, the model was applied to the schematic case of the propagation of the tidal wave in the lagoon of Oualidia (west coast of Morocco). The model thus developed produced with good precision the characteristics of these three studied flows and in particular the propagation of the tidal wave.}}
